HANASYS5

In contrast to the HANASYS-EXPERT system for installation in large domestic coastal vessels, this system was developed with the themes of "safety, security, reasonable cost, simplicity, and compactness" which must be fulfilled for installation in small vessels. It acquires vessel engine data, sends it to a virtual server on a cloud, and stores it automatically. With this system it is possible to confirm engine data up to as little as 1 second before alarms that have been activated within the vessel, which is extremely useful in tracking the causes of engine malfunctions. Engine data can be viewed at any time, from the vessel it is installed in using HANASYS5, from an office using a PC, or from an outside destination using a smartphone.

Main advantages of HANASYS5

On-land real-time monitoring

The status of main engines, which could previously only be seen from monitoring rooms on vessels, can be confirmed even on land in real time.

Confirmation of data immediately before alarms are issued

If an alarm is issued in a vessel, the main engine status immediately before the alarm is recorded and can be checked later.
This makes it possible to confirm the circumstances not only at the moment of the alarm but during the time until it was issued, assisting in early determination of its causes.

Accumulation of detailed data

Measurement data consisting of 3 types: long-term (every 10 minutes, 5-year period), short-term (every 5 seconds, 3-month period), and immediately before alarm issuance (every 1 second, 10-minute intervals for 3-month period) can be stored and recalled. This makes it possible to confirm the trends of long-term conditions such as age-related deterioration as well as the circumstances of sudden, unexpected events.

Enhanced monitoring display functions

The status of the main engine can be displayed on various screens, so it can be analyzed from many different viewpoints.
6 types of monitoring can be performed: trends, mimic, instrument panel, engine performance, characteristic curves, and alarm history.

Web viewing

The status of the main engine can be confirmed using an internet browser from a smartphone, tablet, or PC.
Information on the measurement values and maintenance management of the main engine can be viewed.

  • The communication line between the ship and land must be prepared by the customer.
